My query is regarding leave encashment. I have resigned from the company. When I asked to do the leave encashment, HR completely denied doing that and said "We do not do the leave encashment". I asked for the HR Handbook to which she again denied that she won't share the HR Handbook and neither they use the HR Handbook. Please guide me what should I do? is there any law that says leave encashment is mandatory? If yes, then Which code says it is mandatory? and where can I find that document?
