Legal action against employee not providin right information

Hi,

Can somebody please tell me what action can be taken against an employee who did not declare the court case against him when joining the company.

Really urgent!!

Dear Megha,

He can be sued for breach of contract, fraud/misrepresentation. Even criminal liability under offences of cheating/forgery may arise.
