Legal aid

Hello, Learned Counsel!

My friend Sharqua booked a hotel and paid online in the city of YZ. She is Muslim by religion and an Architect by profession. She has the interest to see different kinds of architecture due to this reason she thought to stay at YZ. She took her flight from her hometown to the capital of the state. From there she took a cab for city YZ, late-night she reached her hotel. But the hotel manager denied her to give room and stated the reason that she is Muslim and we only give rooms to Hindus. She complained to the online platform from which she booked a hotel but they didn’t bother to help her. Because of this, she has to suffer a lot to fetch a new room in the city. Also, few people misbehaved with her and tried to defame her. What is the legal remedy available to her?
Note- Due to huge religious protests in the city of YZ. I mentioned YZ instead of its real name.

1. When Hotel Room was online booked, the booking name itself expressly implied that person is of Muslim Religion.  Hence the Hotel would have rejected then & there or canceled the room booking.  Why would the Hotel wait for Guest to reach Hotel & then refuse on grounds of Muslim religion.

2. Further the person should have filed Police FIR instead of complaining online platform.  Why this was not done.

3. Both the above points suggests that query is hypothetical.
