Dear Mr.Chakraborty,
To maintain master roll in a plant or factory is principly an internal matter of the management. However, only legal compliance is to be observed by the management is to adhere to the format prescribed by the Labour Commissioner of the Region. Rest of the form of maintaining master roll depends upon the management what suits them better to keep a transparent records of labour deployed and financial implications of the work carried out.
