Since you are a witness to the agreement you wont be liable for any consequences until and unless you are a third party and know the contents along with the terms and conditions of the agreement (if you are a party to it) otherwise as a witness there is nothing as such.

Though in every agreement signatures of witnesses are not required even otherwise witness is not liable for consequences of breach of any terms and conditions mentioned in agreement, parties to the agreement are liable for any breach of conditions.

The witness is responsible for the genuineness of the signature of the principal. If a party to the dispute contests that the signature of the party to the agreement was not genuine the witness may called to testify the genuineness of the signature

Witnesses do not incurr any liability by becoming witnesses except for attending the court and deposing when needed.
