Limitation act

Can a debt recovery time barred suit becomes active after making part payment after expiry of period of limitation??? does fresh period of limitation starts??

As per my knowledge, NO, becase, once a period of limitation started, it can't be stopped, untill and unless it expires. However, it can be extended, by acknowledging the same within the period of limitation.

The part payment after the expiry of period of limiattaion, doesnot active the limiation period, or give any fresh cause of action. As the limitation law only extinguishes the right to recover through court of law, and not the debt.

is there any legal way to recover debt out of court of law ?

Limitation will start from the last transaction. but it should be proved.

The topic itself is very controversial. The Act prohibits but the practice permits as I feel,
