Maintenance

Maintainance can be claimed from husband ,whereas she can claim her husband right through husband father property. It further depends property is ancestral or self acquired.

1. Hindu married woman can claim maintenance from her husband if she has not any source or proper source for her maintenance in the ratio of her husband . 2. She can also claim from her husband fathers property if It is inherited .3 . According to section 19 of The hindu adoptions and maintenance act 1956 , a hindu wife shall be entitled to be maintained after the death of her husband by her father-in-law, if she is unable to maintain herself out of her own earnings .

Could You please elaborate that how come a wife can claim the right's on her father in laws property?

 

Without suffice or any case law it's sarcastic to read the repliers answers on victim's query here.

 

There is no Law right of the moment which say's that a wife can claim the right on husband's property or on her in laws property.

 

The last solution comes where attachment of husband's self earned property when he is no more in situation to pay maintenance and that also comes at the last stage where all doors all closed and it is not the easiest of easy to any wife to do so.
