Hello sir, A mere mutual agreement of divorce signed by the two parties on stamp paper is not recognised as a valid divorce in law. Power to grant divorce lies only with the court. The proper manner to get mutually separated is as per Section 13 B of the Hindu marriage act. To know more about this Provision please refer to this article: https://www.lawyersclubindia.com/articles/divorce-by-mutual-consent-the-way-ahead-8523.asp
