May i get property possession...

i had purchased property in yr1993 from landlord but we had not executed a property sale agreement due to the death of property owner.
we had paid amount in full towards the settelement to him that time.but few years later his family members claim that this property had not sold yet n ur our tenant so pay us Rs25000/- more then only we sold u the property.
and that amt we had paid (which taken from my uncle)to him also and they r agreed that they had sold the property to us bt again we didnt executed agreement.now my uncle claims that this property belongs to me and elecricity bill also comes in his name.
we have just ration card n slum area survey receipt.

can we file a case aginst him and can we b called as deemed owner of that property.

please help i am in very difficult situation.

the amount of consideration is paid by your uncle so in basic concept the property belongs to ur uncle howver if you are living in that house ypu are only a tenant as the electricity meter is alos in ur uncles name ,why you had not applied for such in ur name ?

this case is tough one but you can file petition under adverse posession and if you have witnesses that you are in that house from many years and not in blodd line of your uncle then you can claim that house,free to call
