Mental harassment while notice period

I have served my resignation and in my notice period. After resignation, my manager had tried stopping me by saying that what will I do if he will not accept my resignation and I should be very lenient with him then only he will accept my resignation and he gave me many other threats. Aftet which I havr escalated the matter to HR and got my last working day communication from my VP. Now, I am in mid of a project which I will be completing 24 days before my notice period completion. In between the project, my manager is only doing my fault finding and disturbing me with comments like this and that were also required. However, I have shown samples of last project which was done by him to my VP over email that the quality of project I am delivering is much better then before and there is no such parameters as my manager is jow suggest me in mid of the project. However, working everyday wid the aame person is very disturbing for me and my VP also seems to be by his side at some instances. Now, I am afraid if they can try to increase my notice period from 3 months to more. However, my offer letter clearly says that a person if he is in project can be released at the end of tge project or completion of notice period, whichever ia earlier. What should I do?

First thing first; Download copies of all such emails and other evidences including threats etc and that you have completed the project  24 days before LWD.

Reply to each allegation and refute  in writing under proper acknowledgment.

Post full details about nature of  employment and establishment.

i don't think stage has come yet for you to go to a lawyer. be polite yet assertive. keep all communication in email and mark a copy to your personal email id. forward the LWD communication and all important mails to your personal id. VP must be having a superior too right? if VP does not release you, right to him with a copy to head of HR 15 days before your LWD. follow up personally (amicably). i think this problem will get sorted out. also keep a record of all your good work done. if nothing works, lawyers are there to help. approach an able counsel in your area specialising in service matters. are you a member of any trade unions btw?

@doab: I am a permanent employee and not under any bond.

Querist @ Abhi,

It does not matter at all even if you are under any so called Bond.

We have handled endless numebr of  queries on so called Bond.

Are the Line Manager/Head-HR/VP-HR etc your employer or appointing authority and/or authority to accept/reject resignation as per Board resoloution?

There is no such board resolution. I have goa a written email from my VP ( whi is my manager boss) that my resignation is in process and lwd will be the end of notice period which is three months from the date of resignation. However, my offer letter clearly gives me an opportunity to buy my notice period. The intention of my current employer is delay my lwd and harras me so that my next opportunity is missed and I remain with them.
