MINIMUM WAGES

Labour supply tender accepted by A&N Command(PRINCIPAL EMPLOYER) and OUR Firm(CONTRACTOR), accordingly Rates fix up. In the tenure of execution of the contract, the GOVERNMENT changes Labour rate by Circular.  Nothing mentioned in tender to get this hike rate. Now to assure Minimum wages of labour can we claim the difference from A&N Command which arises from Government circular?

dear mr sarkar,  The tenderer has to apply and fill in the rates in the tender considering all aspects of his business including revision of minimum wages and hike in special allowance.  Since the Govt in your case is the deciding authority for alloting tender, it cannot take your responsibility of rise in the minimum wages which is to be borne by you, but the rates quoted should take care of all types of contingencies.
