Minimum Wages for Foreign Employees in india

Dear All,

Please suggest me.

Is there any minimum wages applicable on foreign employees. If yes, under which legislation?

Also, can a part of the expat’s salary be paid to him directly in his home country? In this case, where will the tax and PF be deducted?

The Minimum Wages Act is applicable to the scheduled emplyment and employees working in the respective scheduled emplyment are entited for minimum wages prescribed by the appropriate government of a particular sheduled emplyment. Act does not make any distinsion between foreign employees and or naive emplyees.
