Mistakes in releasedeed

There is mistake of error in name in releasedeed and same mistake in accompanying affidavit of legalheir which is annexed to releasedeed.
if rectificationdeed is prepared is new affidavit is required to be made .
if new affidavit is made shouldit be affixed to original release deed or rectification deed?
the original was made 1 year ago.
please clarify.

cancelling old releasedeed is not easy.will rectification of mistake do?

A registered release deed rectifying the error appearing in the principal deed, supported by supplementary affidavit in line with the rectified release attached therewith may be considered as proper
