Is it possible to file a mutual consent divorce from a place where the girl is currently residing but the husband is located in another state and the marriage solemnized in the home town of both the spouces.

Thanks for your swift reply.
One of the lawyer told me that it can not be filed as I don't have any adress proof of the place where the girl resides. He also says that it is required for the vakalatnama to file the case, so technically the case can not be filed. Therefore the girl should file a petion and then I can agree on that. I have some doubt on this.
Please put some light on this.
