I got 1 acre non-agriculture Land at North Solapur, Solapur District. The land was outside city limits before 1992. But now it is under limits of Solapur Muncipal Corporation. At the moment I am paying Property tax of Solapur Muncipal Corporation and Non Agricultural Tax to Talati , Land & Revenue Department , Maharashtra Govt.(District Collector). I heard there is GR that prohibits charging both Property Tax by Muncipal Corporation and District Collector/Land Revenue State Govt.
Can I get the GR no and details, I think they can't charge both ???
