Name change in property and other areas

A property is registered in my name. However, I have changed my name after marriage. Now some documents contain my maternal name and some new name. I have following doubts 1. I have not given any ad in newspaper for name change after marriage. Is it considered a valid name change 2. The property is in my maternal name. I want to change the same to my new name. Can this be possible? 3. Some financial investments like NSC are in my previous name. How can I claim them now?

Name before marriage is now valid. it is not mandatory to chage.

However, if you want to change you need to make marriage certificate. after making marriage certificate get your pan card and aadhar card chanaged.

After changing all the above documents to your new name submit that to concern person alongwith Indemnity Bond for chnage of earlier name to new name.

The marriage certificate was made at the time of mariage only and contains maternal name.

Aadhar card contains new name.

Pan card contains old name.

Passport contains old name.

My main concern is property which contains old name. How do I change name there? In pan card, driving license and banks , I can get my name easily changed. But, how about property?
