Women is entiteled to get 50% share in residential property on husbands name
This will encourage divorce rate in India
Now girls will marry only those guys who has property on his name and after a month of marriage they will file for divorce and become half owner of half the property
Marriage will beocme business now

They do not understand. Already thers is heavy misuse of 498-A and DV Act and now they are coming up with one more stupid law of 50% share in husbands property. Now marriage will become business. Get married and after a week file for divorce and get 50% of property share. The most stupid thing is that it is immaterial whether the property was acquired before marriage or after marriage. She will get 50% of the property. If the property was acquired before marriage then how can she get the share in it. What is her contribution in it. Its a stupid law. Hope it doesn't get passed by the Parliament and the hon'ble President.
