No RTI Response

Greetings To All!
Sir/ma'am, it is obvious that we can gather input regarding any policy or program implemented by the State or even Central Government, by filling an RTI under Right To Information Act. So I filled an RTI to get specific details about Gauraksha program in Haryana to check the records, however, no response from that side.

Therefore, I would like to know what necessary steps should be taken, if despite of the RTI, there is no response provided by the requisite department. Can we appeal in court for the same?

As per your query, let me tell you that if no response is provided even by filling an Right to Information (RTI), the RTI applicants can directly approach to State Information Commissions (SICs) or Central Information Commission (CICs) with a complaint.

Therefore, you may proceed to do so since, no response have been provided to you from either Public Information Officers (PIOs) or Appellate Authorities (AAs) within the stipulated time frame.

Hope It Helps
