Noc from present employer for joining psu however noc was granted by previous employer

I was selected for a PSU for which i already took NOC from my employer. Interview occurred but result was not declared. In the mean time since the result was in limbo, i joined an organization on deputation and later on permanently absorbed in it. Now, it is expected that result of that PSU will come out soon.

My question is should i apply for NOC again from my present employer? and can it reject my NOC application stating that i have not told them earlier?? I am confused please guide me
