It's true that offence u/s 304-a is non compoundable.but if  LR'S of deceased file a compromise before the court, the court may consider in mitigating the  punishment. There are many citations of apex court in this respect.

it cannot be compounded but if you have compromise deed u can prefer for quashing but it is the discretion of the HC to grant u relief or nt. ur factual circumstances will justify the same.
