not returning of money with a help of a lawyer

Am srithar from madurai, tamilnadu. My friend done a transaction for rs40,000 from my credit card and he promised me to pay it my 12 emis but after 6 emis he delay my payment and then he arranged a lawyer and bought a written statement from me by a decrease is total amount (at 11pm) then now they making a play and making me to run into a depression at real they need to pay 10,000 but by his statement he needs to pay only 5000
