Objections to ia

I had filed an IA in a suit in which I am respondent.  My opponent took several adjournments to file objections.  Even when the judge fixed a date as the last chance, he failed to file any objections and the judge recorded "objections taken as not filed" in the order sheet.  The judge then permitted me to argue and I completed oral arguments on the IA and filed written arguments also.

Can my opponent reply to my arguments in the absence of any objections?  Since there are no objections, would my IA be allowed?
