One time alimony without divorce

sir a CHRISTIAN lady has got only one time PERMANENT ALIMONY OF RS.ONE LAKH BY COURT ORDER IN CHENNAI CIVIL COURT ALTHOUGH SHE PRAYED FOR 30000 PER MONTH AS MAINTENANCE FOR THE PETITIONER AND CHILDREN SHE IS LIVING SEPERATED FOR LAST 21 YRS FROM HER HUSBAND. SO THEIR MARRIAGE LASTED FOR LESS THAN TEN YEARS. FROM JUNE1985 T0 JUNE 1994.

IT IS LEARNT BY HER THOUGH NOT PROVEABLE LEGALLY HUSBAND REMARRIED IN 2009 .

CAN SHE REMARRY

Hi G bharath if she give her x husband divorce and legally and her x husband marriage to another women than where is problem and she got alomoney onr time so thats all set

but here i mention one more if she married to another men than she can t claim for maintaince and court stop it

she could marry to another person its legally valid

After divorce from first husband she can remarry to another men . It would be legally valid.

Dear Bharath,

Even though their marriage lost for 10 years by living seperate, they have to obtain decree of divorce from the court to remarry legally. If she remarry as her husband got remarried, then Marriages of both of them will be illegal.

Reciving permanent Alimony and living seperate will not decline divorce. They have to obtain decree of divorce.
