I am trying to register my company's name as trademark.
Since I already have digital signature, I am trying to do filing online.
So I have few queries:
1) Is Form TM-1 the right one?
2) If I select class 42 then does it mean, anyone else can file SAME trademark in any other class? How to prevent this? How to register company's name for all class? (Note: its Pvt. Ltd. company)
3) In form TM-1, what will be right "trademark type" to select? Brand or Name? I am confused on what is the difference.
4) In form TM-1, what is "application type"? What is difference between, Certification, Collective, Series and Trademark? Which one should I select?
5) In form TM-1, there is a field called "Condition". What am I supposed to write in this?
6) Finally, what are the documents that I should attach in the form?
7) My purpose is to prevent anyone from using my company's name. I hope that I am on right track. If not then please let me know if any mistake esp. a legal mistake or legal flaw which can allow others to use the same name.
8) Can I register company logo with name? Will it be charged extra or its free? In case I select logo then do i select trademark type as Name or Logo?
Please please answer this. I hope there are people here who have done online trademark filing.
