Partition deed between brothers

what is the role of an advocate in making partition deed.How much fees can we pay to the lawyer.the property to be partitioned is on our fathers name,some property is on my mothers name.Is it ok.What is the procedure and how much time it will take

The advocate will assist you in drawing up the papers (proper format) for the partition deed and then having it registered at the sub-registrar's office situated nearest to your property. You can have the property partitioned exactly as you mentioned, and fees varies from one advocate to another. Needless to say it wouldn't be too substantial.

If all parties involved are willing to partition amicably then fee of lawyer to draft may be reasonable.

Even a senior deedwriter may draft as pr your settled terms and needs, for a fixed and nominal fee.
