Passport & pccc if there is stay against 498a

Dear Experts

There is a case filed in lower court, against which i had applied for Chargesheet quashing in Highcourt.

HC gave a decision that they didnt find anything justified against us, but giving party -2 time to file affidavit.

10 months has passed nothing has moved.

Can i apply for passport renewal & PCCC in such a case as there is stay against the case by High Court.

PLEASE SUGGEST

Hi Rocky Thanks for reply , but passpoert and pccc rrules says that u can't apply until there is a pending case against you in court of law But as there is a stay by high court for proceeding in lower court , can I apply ???

In order to reject renewal of your passport (U/s 6(2)(f) of passport act), the passport authority needs to know about your pending criminal case status or your opponent should have your passport information and make aware passport authority.

Else they can't reject it.

Normally, for Govt. Employees they ask for NOC.

For others they don't.
