Path blocking to enter my land

We have an asset, which came from our grandparents and their parents. This property has been owned by our family for over 75 years. The owner of the neighber land is currently blocking the path and says the path belongs only to them. They also say that it has not been handed over to the municipal corporation . That particular area was upgraded to as orporation 6 years ago. This is the only road to our property. We are planning to build the house now, but we are facing this problem. Is there anything to sort it out?

Dear  querist,

You can approach local police station and file complaint and you can also file civil suit in civil court.

Contact a local advocate and file a civil suit, pending you can also file IA restraining the offender for working against your easement rights.
