Pay protection

Sir I joined income tax department as tax assistant in 02.12.2015 in 2400 grade pay.before joining this deptt. I was junior accountant in postal department in 2800 grade pay. I took technical resignation from there. My question are following. 1. Will my pay protection be fixed? 2.some says only equal grade pay employee gets pay protection? 3.what other benefits will be entitle??
