Pay protection rule

Sir 

I am working in Ordnance Factory Ambajhari Nagpur as Jr. Works Manager having current Basic 14980 + 4600 GP. Sir Now I am selected in Integrated head quarter Navy through UPSC as Jr. Scientefic officer having GP 4800. Now the entry level basic pay for this post is Rs. 13350 which is less than my existing basic. Sir will I get the pay Protection after giving the technical resignation. what is rule of pay protection in 6th CPC after giving the technical resignation

If you have moved your application through proper channel or have been issued NOC from the previous employer then the answer is YES your last basic pay would be protected under Fudamental rules (FRs) otherwise the present employment would be treated as a fresher and your basic would be fixed as per the selection board recommendation.
