Permanent alimony

Hi Friends,

                My wife is demanding Rs 25 Lakhs from me as Permanent Alimony to get Divorced.

                She is working and earning Rs 20 thousand per month and also she has done Masters degree Education.

So is it necessary for me to pay her huge Alimony of Rs 25 Lakhs if I want Divorce as she is working and educated.

I come from middle class family and I am unable to pay Rs 25 Lakhs. I told her I can give you max Rs 5 Lakhs.

But she is strict on her demand for Rs 25 Lakhs.
