my grandmother died in 1998 without any will. she was an authorised tenant of a house. one of my uncle has been doing commercial activites in the said house which is situated on the main road. after the death of my grandmother , he secretly transferred the ownership in his name with the help of the landlords. now the building is going for redevelopement , and he getting a good deal for it. whenever we used to ask the landlords , they used to sy that its still in my grannys name . my uncle has made a few properties from income generated from the business coducted in that house.
we have served him and the landlords 2 notices to transfer the said property in the name of all the legal heirs . my uncle has threatened that even if we file a case , its going to take several years and by then he will be able to buy a bigger shop than that house . pls advice. your precious advice will be appreciated.
