Pls clarify

I have heard that police cannot arrest any person/accused in the court room. Even if there is a warrant against him? is it true and why??

I don't think there is any provision . However there is one provision of law which states that a person while attending court, on his way to court as well as while coming back from court cannot be subjected to civil arrest in lieu of execution of a decree Augustine Chatterjee Advocate & Solicitor at Law 9999931153

As per mu knowledge police can arrest thats why if someone wants to surrender before court his/her lawyer first have to inform court and ask the court to order police not to arrest while entering in court complex.

Pls clarify
