Police maal khana report

Dear  Sir/Madam

hi..

few days back somebody stolen my bike then after few days it recovered back but without its both Wheels, then when i claim for insurance they are asking for " MAAL KHANA REPORT" to be issued by police statiopn but when i contact to them, they say that it will take about 45 days to issue maal khana report, so plaese tell me the law governing that report, and  cant i get that report early?and is there any other option to get my claim?
