Police verification

i am selected for a govt. job and got a police verification letter . my current and present address are same but i have also filled my past address . does police also go personally to past address or just record check .my record is clear but what if my past neighbours doesn't recognise me and make false comments . is this a serious issue . iam living in my present address since last 9 months . plz answer my query

you directly meet concern police officer and inform your fact,

if he will ask some id document, so produced to him

defenately will reply in your favour.

Police will come to your present address only for your verification of address and character , and also get it confirm from your neighbour about your period of residing in this address and about your character .
