Mr. Arvinthan, what an immature reply you have suggested on a simple query. If an Indian born Us Citizen is travelling to India, would he be travelling without Passport and Visa? And do you not consider Passport, a document of Identity, issued by the respective sovereign nation on which a visa is being stamped and the individual can roam around the globe? He is permitted to roam around globe still it is not an identity in India?
And Mr.Kala did you not referered my reply on the subject of power of attorney? There is no special form or style for power of attorney.Simply type on a paper what you wanted and get it attested from the Indian consulate at USA and register it at the District Registrar where the property is situated in India and do whatever you wanted with the property and transfer that money to your account in USA after paying the legal taxes if sold and forget the rest.
Mr.Arvintham if you do not have the right answer or unaware of the proceedings please dont misled the common layman.
Regards
