Power of Attorney and Authorization

Some agency required authorisation certificate. And we have power of attorney in hand. Can we submit power of attorney in place of authorization certificate or power of authorization.

Authorisation of Power of attorney is done by local government (SDM office) for local use in India and in case it has to be sent and used outside India it has to be apostillised by Ministry of External affairs.
