Power of attorney from abroad

I am a NRI in Singapore . For immediate expenses I have to sell a property in India but I am not able to go to India as I am physically unfit.

I want to give the power of attorney to my Father living in India. The property was registered in my name some 20yrs back.

What is the current procedure to give Power of Attorney  from Singapore to sell property in India.

Thank you !

Please issue power of attorney in favour of the person of your choice, giving therein the details of the property and other details .The power of attorney shall attract stamp duty as required under laws of Singapore. The power of attorney after reciept in India is to be counter signed by The Divisional Commissioner concerned in token of its authencity.

Please remember another most important thing that POA should be attested by the Indian Embassy/consular/mission at Singapore before sending to India.
