Hello
I want to know whether power of Authority made in Maharashtra , will be excepted all over other states in India.
And what are the documents required for making the same, Due to poor health of my father, he is willing to make power of Authority in his sons name to take care of the property which is situated in Maharashtra as well as Uttar Pradesh

He can make a power of attorney to someone to act on his behalf. This includes the power ot contract, buy and sell property, sign cheques, make bank deposits and withdrawals, settle clims, file law-suits and almost anything else.

Power Of Attorney executed in Maharastra to care the properties situated in Maharasta and Uttar Pradesh can only be effectiv and used only in Maharastra and Uttar pradesh.

where the properties situtated are described in detail in a General Power of Attorney, it may be registered in a State, that will be accepted in India except Jammu & kashmir after validation in other State where it will be presented with other document. And if a Principal of a Power of Attorney dies, the agents of that POA automatically be cancelled.
