Hi Seniors,
Can you pls help me with an extract of ESIC Act , which explicitly highlights liability of prinicpal employer, when deploying resourcing from Contractor?.
Also if sub contractor fails to adhere to the ESIC Act , what is the liability on Prinicpal employer

principal employer has to verify the registration of the contractr/ sub contractor befor e alloting the work. and check the esic contribution on the monthlly basis. if contractor / sub contractor fails to pay the esic then the principal employer has to pay the esic. principal employer can deduct the same from their bills.
