Sir,
My wife has three elder brothers. Wife's mother has a house on her name. One more house and a land of about 2 acres which is still on her father's name who is no more now. (2 acres land was given to her father by her grand father). Sir, my question is that, whether my wife has rights in these property or not. Kindly explain and confirm me to niviharshi@gmail.com

after the amedment effected in Hindu Law in 2005, women are equal co-parceners in the HUF property even after their marriage which was not the position prior to the amedment. So ur wife is pretty much entitled to her undivided share in the HUF properties.
