Purchase of car

Sir,

I want to purchase a Car  for which can I take a portion of the money from my wife with out any

Tax implication ?  If so how much is the limit ?  Gift from wife is it permitted  for such a cause ?  If not so what is the solution as we can meet this expnese only with joint fund ?
