2. The Tihar Jail, Delhi has alrteady implemented a PMS (Prison Managment System) post discovery of errors (more so its misuse and complaints by mulaqatis) their archial manual system of visitor entry and exits of visitors including minor visitors.

 

The VMS (Visitor Manamgement System) is implemented at Central Public Relations Office situated at Gate # 3 and Gate # 4 of the Tihar prisons. All visitors coming to Jail to meet their relative prisioners are first photographed and then they are issued photo passes. Details of visitors are being kept in the databse and this information is shared with police for the investigation purpose. Now-a-days the meeting slip is being generated within 45 seconds. The booking of mulaqati is using the concept of call center now-a-days. Recently they got ISO certification for this process and plannign to be role model for SAARC countries implementation of same!

and i was told there is no identification or record for minors visiting the tihar as one of my student visited her brothers in tihar and i marked her present for today as it was her exam and then her mother took her from school so i was apprehensive if the child is present at both places in school and jail but timings are different.

In that event i thought it best to know what to do.

with whome the child went to jail to meet her brothers?Why her own mother was unaware of it?

If it is her exam then you must have to give her some fake marks in school records or how will u manage her exam copy?

No fake marks exam was in the morning its primary wing..and the query was just that her mother took her around brk time and i needed clarification abt time and wheather i should give her attendance as genuinly she is there both places but different times..so i just wanted to know if jail authorities mention time then its ok if not then i need to mark her absent coz she went in between with her mother who took her from school .

and she has given her exam too..no worries about tht..bas tnsn ek cheez ka tha abt tht jail stuff usme kuch galat naa ho coz both are sarkari
