Hi. I was residing in the same flat on Leave & License basis for more than 3 years in Mumbai. I had paid a security deposit of Rs. 50000/- . After proper notice, i had vacated the flat. The landlord is now refusing to refund the same by pointing out to some wear & tear, which i'm sure is not the real matter, but its an excuse to eat up money.
How should i go about securing the refund , as i had paid him the rent till the last month of my stay.
