Requesting copy of all case paperwork from court - district court

Dear sirs,

I wanted to ask if there is a way to obtain copies of my case file with all paperwork submitted by the defendant and plaintiff. It is a civil case regarding property. All I know is that the plaintiff has been submitting exhibits, however I have not been provided with any copies.

Can I make a freedom of information request to obtain these documents?

Thank you.

What ever document (s)/ paper(s) filed by a party has to be given copy to other party to the case, it is law. If not provided, demand it through the Court.

If you have engaged a an advocate he can ask the court for issuance of requierd documents, or otherwise just file an application for inspection of court file and then not down what documents you need. Then file an application with stamps to the court for issuance of certified copies of documents on record .

You can file a copy applicaiton seeking certified copies of the required document by paying the apprpriate court fee, you may be in touch with your advocate about it

It is your right to get a copy free of cost from the opposite party.
