If the building is built after permission and approvals, one can get under RTI. If it is not approved construction, it means that there may be a deviation/violation or some problem. In those cases, one has to explore the possibility of getting building regularisation whenever the Govt scheme is announced. Contact Panchayat officer in person and not a litigation problem at this point in time. This is not all, it may likely be really in Corporation boundaries also though originally the land is within boundaries of village through subsequent notifications and hence Panchayat may not be having such permissions.
