I am staying in 1st floor of a 4 floor building. I am the owner of the said flat and wants to renovate my bathroom which need change of tiles and pipes. Though, one of the co-owner threatened us that he will go to police and complain a FIR against us. Hence, we need to stopped the work. KMC don't provide any approval for such work as according to KMC law no permission is required for such work. Now I need to know the solution how to fix the issue with the police. Police is saying that they let the work if any of the co-owner complain.
Please suggest how to cop with the police and get the work done.
No permission is required. Give a letter consent to the GHMC local office.
