Respected sir/madam

one person gave two cheques to his friend for security purpose for plots purchase business, but he gave them by writing amounts to another person for which he due to that third person and that third party filed Cheque bounce by claiming the two cheques were given to his wife,
"is that a recoverable debt by filing a case by husband (complainant) with cheque which was written on his wife name?"

In case of recovery the lender uses all tactics and do not spare any attempt to recover the amount from the borrower.  The wife can be the complainant, and husband can take POA and represent her in Court.
