Review Petition or IA

Dear Legal Experts,

Our Counsel did not represent or submitted the facts before the Honble Court in Writ Petiton, which we had instructed to him in written twice, and now the court had imposed Rs.10000/-(One lakh ) cost to respondent(us) for unnecessary adjournment and delay ,so my question is what legal remedy we have left as it was not our fault completely.

Thanks.

you should also be balmed for your lapses. Before signing the petition you are supposed to read and sign..

you have 2 options

1. to get it reduced  through the counsel

2. pay and recover from your counsel.

Sir,
We are respondent party , and the matter is of SC, from media we came to know about the cost imposed,we have abide the court directives but our Counsel didn't submitted the facts which we had instructed to him.Now we are thinking to file Review or IA by different advocate, would it be a good approach?.

Party should not suffer at the fault of Advocate. There is nothing wrong in making a good approach.
