It has been strongly suspected that the Builder in NOIDA Gardenia Grace in Sector-61 has collected inflated (I) Lease Rent and (ii) Service Tax and not passed on the amounts so collected to the respective authorities. The Realtor has not issued separate Receipts to the Flat Owner as a solid proof of its remittance to the concerned authorities.
How to get the particulars of payment made by the Builder in respect of each Flat allottee for both Lease Rent (Rs.1,72,500/- for a 1150 sq.ft 2BHK Flat and Service Charge paid for the period from July, 2010 when the Service Tax has come into force till the possession of the Flat i.e. June, 2012. Major part of Flat Cost had already been paid prior to the date of new taxation and only for the balance amount to be paid at the time of possession. Which Authority is to be approached in each of the above remittances and the procedure to be followed may kindly be enlightened.
