1. TILL Father is alive, you do NOT have any rights on Father's property.
2. When you do not want anything from Father's property, THEN why bother about your rights or whatever.

What is the property involved ?
Whether the property is self acquired by your father or ancestral ?
P. Venu (Advocate) 22 May 2020
You or your brothers have subsisting rights in the properties belonging to your parents during their lifetime. You are only legal heirs to their properties, left intestate, unless the father's property is ancestral.
